Xbox (original) - General Repairs (12 Month Warranty)

Prior to sending an xbox to us that you think may require repair, please firstly confirm that your xbox requires to be repaired.

If your Xbox has not been disassembled ($85)

If your have confirmed that your xbox has a problem requiring repair and it has not been disassembled (i.e. all stickers on the underside remain intact), then we offer a general repair service fee of AU$85 (excluding any return shipping fee*).  No matter what the problem**, your xbox will be repaired and generally made available for dispatch within 24 hours of us having receiving your xbox.

If your Xbox has been disassembled ($85)

If your xbox has a problem and it has been disassembled, then our general repair fee of AU$85 still applies except in the following circumstances:

1. your hard disk is faulty and it is not an original xbox hard disk (the general repair fee does not cover, for example, the replacement of a faulty 200Gb hard disk with a fresh 200Gb hard disk!).

2. the xbox has been assembled from a pile of faulty components or has suffered from severe damage.

Failed modification attempts and TSOP BIOS repairs are therefore covered by our general repair fee.

If you would like us to repair your previously disassembled xbox then we request that payment of our fee is not made until we confirm the status of the repair.  We will aim to advise the outcome within 24 hours of receiving your xbox.

* Melbourne residents may visit our workshop by appointment.

** this assumes that your xbox isn't in an obviously destroyed state (for example, run over by a truck!).
